2026-07-14
On June 29, students went to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing to participate in a hackathon. The event focused on three core areas: Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and social innovation.
During the event, the students addressed the hospital's daily needs by tackling specific themes: "Healthcare Workload: Finding the 25th Hour," "Patient Experience: Hospitals No Longer a Maze," and "The Road to Recovery: Virtual Care at Home." They devised imaginative solutions to these challenges, including concepts for virtual home-based care.
Two of the students served as emcees for the large-scale event, with over 100 people.
