Geography Department – Visit to Geospatial Lab and Geographic Information System (GIS) workshop

Organized by the Geography Department, 26 S5 and S6 students went to the Geospatial Lab at Millennium City 1 on 22nd September. During the visit, students learned knowledge and concepts of Spatial Data through classroom learning and hands-on experiences. Students also had the opportunity to use Geographic Information System (GIS) software to conduct simple tasks. The activity enabled students to understand the worth and application of Spatial Data. It also strengthened students’ interest in the subject while cultivating their concern for society.
