In order to let students know more about the poverty problem in Hong Kong, the Liberal Studies Department participated in the taster programme, 'Care for the Poor', organised by the Mission to New Arrivals . In this activity, students will visit the roof houses and stay out on streets overnight to get a taste of the bitter conditions faced by the poor and the homeless.
