Biology Department: Solar Powered Hydroponics and Aquaponics Workshop
In order to allow students to learn biological knowledge through practice, the Biology Department will arrange a course "Solar Powered Hydroponics and Aquaponics Workshop" which is guided by professional instructors and assisted by Biology teachers.
The dates of workshops were 2/2/2023, 9/2/2023, 16/2/2023 and 2/3/2023 (Thursdays). 13 form 5 Biology students participated in the activities. <~1.5 hrs / session>
The content of the workshop ncludes understanding the operating principles of renewable energy, hydroponics and aquaponics, as well as installing and making solar panels, controlling controller, filter box, hydroponic cultivation box and planting hydroponic plants, etc.
The workshops include theories and practical, which will help students experience different learning experiences.
